About Noël

Why I Became a Professional Health Care Advocate

My journey into patient advocacy began at the intersection of clinical expertise and a deep personal experience. With over 35 years as a registered nurse, I have seen firsthand how complex, overwhelming, and fragmented the healthcare system can be—even for those with medical knowledge. Throughout my career, I have witnessed countless patients and families struggle to understand their options, make informed decisions, and navigate uncoordinated care.

This understanding became profoundly personal when both of my parents faced life-threatening diagnoses. Advocacy was no longer just part of my profession—it became essential to their survival. I can say without hesitation that my parents are alive today because I was able to advocate on their behalf. That experience, combined with decades of supporting others through their health journeys, gave me a deep appreciation for the fear, confusion, and exhaustion that patients and families often face.

I founded Precision Care Nurse Advocates to provide compassionate, knowledgeable guidance to individuals and families who need clarity and support. My mission is to bridge gaps in care, advocate alongside clients, and serve as a trusted, collaborative resource for healthcare teams.

To me, patient advocacy is more than simply being present—it is about standing up for patients, promoting health literacy, improving continuity of care, and empowering individuals to take an active role in their health and well-being.
